Basketball Recap: Bellevue Comes Up Short

Bellevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 70-28 loss at the hands of the Climax-Scotts Panthers. The Broncos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-12.

Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Climax-Scotts, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bellevue will challenge Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Climax-Scotts, they will face off against Galesburg-Augusta at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
