Baseball Game Preview: Sylvania Rams vs. Geraldine Bulldogs

The Sylvania Rams will face off against the Geraldine Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sylvania has given up an average of 12 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sylvania lost 17-6 to North Sand Mountain on Saturday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Bison recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Geraldine had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tigers 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since March 3rd.

Geraldine's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Sylvania, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Sylvania skirted past Geraldine 4-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Does Sylvania have another victory up their sleeve, or will Geraldine turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
