Recap: Silas Rams vs. Spanaway Lake Sentinels

The Silas Rams's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They slipped by Spanaway Lake 64-63. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Tyson Parker was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. His trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Antione Vallarde-larkins, who scored 13 points.

The victory got Silas back to even at 9-9. As for Spanaway Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Silas will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 17 contests -- so hopefully Silas likes a good challenge. As for Spanaway Lake, they will head out on the road to face off against Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Lakes' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 matches.
