Softball Recap: North Jackson Comes Up Short

North Jackson fell victim to Smyrna and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 14-0. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 8-1 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Smyrna, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

North Jackson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-3 victory against Stewarts Creek on the 1st. As for Smyrna, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Austin on the 4th.
