Volleyball Game Preview: Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos vs. Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals

The Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos will head out on the road to face off against the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Cerro Gordo/Bement is leaving town to face Warrensburg-Latham after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Broncos fell 2-0 to Tuscola on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Warrensburg-Latham faced off against Unity Christian on Monday. The Cardinals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Warrensburg-Latham was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20.

Cerro Gordo/Bement couldn't quite get it done against Warrensburg-Latham in their previous meeting back in August of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Broncos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
