Watkins Memorial is a perfect 10-0 against Licking Valley since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warriors will head out to challenge the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Watkins Memorial is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Watkins Memorial lost 15-3 to Lancaster on Saturday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Watkins Memorial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sierra Fuchs, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.

Meanwhile, Licking Valley had just enough and edged out Tri-Valley 5-3 on Saturday.

Tori Baughman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emory Whisner, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Taylor Penick was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.

Licking Valley hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tri-Valley struck out seven times.

Watkins Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Licking Valley, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Watkins Memorial has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Licking Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Watkins Memorial took their victory against Licking Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
