Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Davis County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Jefferson Davis County took on McLaurin on Thursday. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.

Jefferson Davis County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for McLaurin, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson Davis County will challenge Mendenhall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McLaurin, they will head out to square off against Morton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
