Football Game Preview: Rimrock Raiders vs. Wilder Wildcats + How To Watch

The Rimrock Raiders will head out to square off against the Wilder Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rimrock has given up an average of 43.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rimrock is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Centennial Baptist, posting a 68-32 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

Justin Yetzer was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 178 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 145 yards and three TDs. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run. Another big playmaker for Rimrock was Carlos Herrera, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Rimrock was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 375 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Wilder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Idaho City 82-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Wilder has suffered against Idaho City since October 25, 2019.

Rimrock's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Wilder, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Rimrock against Wilder when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 78-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
