Baseball Recap: Neshaminy Takes a Loss

Pennsbury hit Neshaminy with a five-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Skins fell 8-4 to the Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Tuesday.

Dan Marable made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Neshaminy and nudges their season record down to 10-6. As for Pennsbury, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season.

While Neshaminy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
