Basketball Recap: Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights vs. SEED DC
The Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 83-59 margin over SEED DC. Winning may never get old, but Friendship Collegiate Academy sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
It was another big night for Kameron Grant, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Keyon Starkey-webb, who scored 14 points.
Friendship Collegiate Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for SEED DC, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Friendship Collegiate Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Lions at 2:00 p.m. on February 3rd. One thing working in Archbishop Carroll's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games. As for SEED DC, they will head out on the road to square off against the Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Idea focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Monday.
