Softball Recap: Northern Cambria Takes a Loss

Conemaugh Valley hit Northern Cambria with a six-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Colts took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Jays. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Megan Lubert was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn Pattison, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Northern Cambria's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Conemaugh Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Conemaugh Valley beat Northern Cambria by a score of 12-2 later that day.
