Volleyball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Barber Chieftains. The Thunderbirds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chieftains earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Skyline started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 4-20-1. As for South Barber, the win got them back to even at 11-11-1.

Looking ahead, Skyline will be playing in front of their home fans against Inman at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for South Barber, they will challenge Norwich at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
