Volleyball Game Preview: Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens vs. Classical Magnet Gladiators + How To Watch

The Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens will square off against the Classical Magnet Gladiators at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Academy of Science and Innovation will be strutting in after a win while Classical Magnet will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Academy of Science and Innovation beat Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy 3-1. The Ravens haven't had any issues with the Phoenix recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Academy of Science and Innovation had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-17, 25-23, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Classical Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy.

Academy of Science and Innovation's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Classical Magnet, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Academy of Science and Innovation was able to grind out a solid victory over Classical Magnet in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Ravens have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gladiators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
