Basketball Game Preview: Poudre Impalas vs. Vista PEAK Prep Bison

The Poudre Impalas are taking a road trip to square off against the Vista PEAK Prep Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vista PEAK Prep took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Poudre, who comes in off a win.

Vista PEAK Prep will be up against a hot Poudre squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went Poudre's way against Loveland on Tuesday as Poudre made off with a 53-30 victory.

Poudre's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maggie Foster led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 boards. Foster continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kavi Voglund, who posted 14 points along with six assists and four steals.

Meanwhile, Vista PEAK Prep had to suffer through a 83-41 loss at the hands of Denver East. The loss continues a trend for the Bison in their matchups with the Angels: they've now lost three in a row.

Vista PEAK Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Poudre, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.
