Softball Game Preview: Overbrook Rams vs. Gloucester County Tech

The Overbrook Rams will head out to face off against Gloucester County Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Overbrook has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Overbrook couldn't beat Maple Shade on Saturday even though they stacked eight runs on them in the third inning. The Rams fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 13-12.

Gianna Simon was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-5 with six RBI, two triples, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Alaina Dufresne, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Gloucester County Tech came up short against West Deptford on Monday and fell 4-1. Gloucester County Tech has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gloucester County Tech saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Cohen, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Overbrook's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Gloucester County Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
