Baseball Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

Valley View came into this matchup off a tough 18-run loss last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Pilot Point Bearcats by a score of 13-11 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since April 19, 2024.

Valley View has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. The win (which was Pilot Point's third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.
