Recap: Gardendale Rockets vs. Woodlawn Colonels
The Gardendale Rockets won the last time they faced the Woodlawn Colonels, and things went their way on Friday too. Gardendale breezed by Woodlawn on the road to the tune of 59-20. The result was nothing new for Gardendale, who have now won three contests by 31 points or more so far this season.
Gardendale was led to victory by Mac Beason and Boogie Harris iii. Beason threw for 216 yards and four touchdowns, while Harris iii rushed for 235 yards on only 15 carries. Carter Jenkins also helped out with an impressive 86 receiving yards.
Gardendale is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season. As for Woodlawn, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Gardendale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Woodlawn is also done with their season.
