Softball Preview: Washington Blue Lions vs. Miami Trace Panthers
The Washington Blue Lions will square off against the Miami Trace Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
On Thursday, Washington came up short against Wilmington and fell 9-4.
Washington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trinity Hixon, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Hailey Lemaster was another, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miami Trace). They won by a run and slipped past Cedarville 14-13. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Miami Trace kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive matches.
Miami Trace's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Washington, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.
