Football Game Preview: Dudley Panthers vs. Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles + How To Watch

Dudley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Ben L. Smith recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will host the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Dudley will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, Dudley didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Page, but they still walked away with a 21-17 victory.

Brayden Jeffries had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 47 yards and one TD, while also throwing for 94 yards and one touchdown. Dudley also got a significant boost from Michael Boone Jr., who ran away from the competition to the tune of 116 yards.

Dudley didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Page to a completion percentage of just 43.5%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Kymauri Beasley and Jalen Jones, who each logged two passes deflected. Dudley wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 61.5%.

Dudley's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for 3.5 sacks. Leading the way was Devin Cotton with 2.5. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with ten. Dudley got some further help from Beasley: he made nine total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defended two passes.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ben L. Smith, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Southwest Guilford by a score of 15-7 on Friday.

Ben L. Smith's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Dudley, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Dudley against Ben L. Smith in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 49-6 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
