Baseball Recap: Post Falls Takes a Loss

Post Falls managed to slip by Lake City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans came up short against the Timberwolves on Saturday, falling 13-4. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Timberwolves earlier this season, when they won 10-8.

Mike O'Connor was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Kearney, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Post Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Lake City, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Post Falls will welcome Moscow at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coeur d'Alene at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
