Basketball Recap: Conestoga Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Conestoga has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 59-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Springfield Cougars on Saturday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Pioneers came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Cougars are ranked 151st).

Conestoga's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3. As for Springfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Conestoga will host Harriton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springfield, they are taking a road trip to challenge Haverford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
