Basketball Game Preview: Timpanogos Timberwolves vs. Park City Miners

The Timpanogos Timberwolves will square off against the Park City Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Park City took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Timpanogos, who comes in off a win.

Timpanogos is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Ogden: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Timberwolves blew the Tigers out of the water with a 69-36 final score. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.

Meanwhile, Park City was beaten by Wasatch 58-30 on Monday. The Miners have struggled against the Wasps recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Timpanogos has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 65.0 points this season. As for Park City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Timpanogos didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Park City in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 38-34 win. Will the Timberwolves repeat their success, or do the Miners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
