Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Victorious

Chelsea's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Kalamazoo Christian Comets by a score of 2-0.

Melayna Minyard paced Chelsea's offense, picking up nine kills. Minyard got some help from Lexi Cummer and her 16 assists. Minyard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Chelsea's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Kalamazoo Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-3 record this season.

Chelsea has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Pennfield on the 13th. Hopefully Kalamazoo Christian paid attention to the Bulldogs' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bulldogs at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
