Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Bryce Uyesato and Daniel Hoang Lead Greenway to Victory

Greenway hadn't done well against Paradise Honors recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Demons had just enough and edged out the Panthers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Demons: when they faced off against the Panthers on April 8th, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Greenway who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-10.

Leading Greenway to victory were Daniel Hoang and Bryce Uyesato. Hoang had eight digs and four aces, while Uyesato had 13 digs and three assists. Those four aces gave Hoang a new career-high.

The victory made it two in a row for Greenway and bumps their season record up to 10-11. As for Paradise Honors, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Greenway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paradise Honors, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Mesquite on the 29th.
