Baseball Recap: Classical Takes a Loss

Classical lost a heartbreaker to Mt. Pleasant when they met back in April of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Thursday. The Purple lost 12-2 to the Kilties. The Purple haven't had much luck with the Kilties recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Classical saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Mazza, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Classical will challenge rival Juanita Sanchez Complex at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant is set to face off against their familiar foe Tiverton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
