Softball Recap: Sacred Heart Valkyries vs. Waggener Wildcats

Sacred Heart gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Waggener Wildcats as the Sacred Heart Valkyries made off with a 19-0 win. The Valkyries haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Emeline Brown made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Brown was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI.
