Football Recap: Don Soffer Aventura Finds Playoff Glory Versus Carol City

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Don Soffer Aventura had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They snuck past the Carol City Chiefs with a 6-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Barracuda: when they faced off against the Chiefs back in March, they had to take a 6-0 loss.

Don Soffer Aventura is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.0 points on average over those games. As for Carol City, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Don Soffer Aventura wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-0 loss against Monsignor Pace on the 16th. Carol City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
