Basketball Recap: St. Mary Central Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Mary Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 65-26 defeat at the hands of the St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crimson Streaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-33 back in December of 2024.

St. Mary Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for St. Joseph Central Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers face off against the Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Joseph Central Catholic, they will take on New Riegel in a tournament on Wednesday.
