Soccer Recap: Mifflinburg Takes a Loss

Mifflinburg's game on Wednesday was all tied up 4-4 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 7-4 to the Hughesville Spartans. Mifflinburg were not able to make up for their defeat to Hughesville from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Mifflinburg has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Hughesville, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Coming up, Mifflinburg will host Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hughesville, they will venture away from home to take on Benton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hughesville will need to watch out since Benton have now posted at least four goals in their last four matchups.
