Softball Recap: Burton Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Burton barely beat Snook the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Burton put the hurt on Snook with a sharp 10-0 win on Friday. Considering the Panthers have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Burton, bringing their record up to 12-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Snook, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11-1.

Looking ahead, Burton will take on Mumford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Snook, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Snook Bluejays take on Milano Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
