Danyelle Davis Game Report: vs Chase County

Danyelle Davis, Wray's leading pitcher, solidified her role on Tuesday. Davis struck out 4 batters over 3 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. The game also marked her 12th in a row where she got on base at least once.

Davis' strong effort led Wray over Chase County and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns are limping into the matchup having lost 15 straight on the road dating back to last season. There's no doubt they're looking for a change of fortune, but will Davis and the Eagles have enough to stop it?
