Baseball Preview: Jamestown Muskies vs. Sharpsville Blue Devils

Jamestown is 0-7-1 against Sharpsville since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Jamestown Muskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sharpsville Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m.

Cole Ternent made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Sharpsville waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged the Grape Pickers out 10-8.

Luke Distler was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four RBI and a run. Another player making a difference was Josh Divens, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Sharpsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.
