Basketball Recap: Detroit Takes a Loss

Detroit was the 45-31 winner over Miller Grove when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Detroit Eagles took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miller Grove Hornets on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Detroit's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Miller Grove, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Detroit will face off against Pewitt at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Miller Grove and Boles will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
