Jayton waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They secured a 35-31 W over the Aspermont Hornets. This was a revenge game for the Jaybirds: when they faced off against the Hornets back in December of 2024, they had to take a 37-34 defeat.

Jayton is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Aspermont, they moved to 11-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hamlin the next time they take the court. Jayton will host Hamlin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Aspermont will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th.
