Volleyball Recap: Berkshire Starts off Right with Win over Champion

Berkshire had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Champion Golden Flashes 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Berkshire was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-12, 25-11.

Berkshire had a senior duo take command as Ava Chuha had five aces and three digs and Delana Kellogg had seven digs and two aces.

Berkshire was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 25 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Champion's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Berkshire will face off against Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Champion, they will challenge Brookfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
