Volleyball Recap: Ponderosa Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ponderosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Regis Jesuit Raiders. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Ponderosa ultimately came up short, they really made Regis Jesuit work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 27-25, 25-17.

Cameron Thomas paced Ponderosa's offense, picking up eight kills. Thomas got some help from Kylie Paul and her 23 assists. Abby Hall controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ponderosa's record now sits at 3-12. As for Regis Jesuit, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ponderosa is set to challenge their familiar foe Castle View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Regis Jesuit will face off against rival Highlands Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
