Basketball Recap: Lakeside Drops Season-High Score on Atlanta Jewish Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeside). They really took it to the Atlanta Jewish Academy Jaguar for the full four quarters, racking up an 82-38 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Vikings have posted since December 5, 2023.

Lakeside found their leader in sophomore Hani Siddiqui, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points. Tommy Vento was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Lakeside was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

With the victory, Lakeside broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-15. As for Atlanta Jewish Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Lakeside has already played their next match, a 77-42 defeat against Tri-Cities on the 31st. As for Atlanta Jewish Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-41 loss against Fulton Science Academy on the 3rd.
