The American Falls Beavers will challenge the Bonners Ferry Badgers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
American Falls will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Declo, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Beavers claimed a resounding 43-14 victory over the Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won four matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

Zakary Grigg had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 179 yards and four TDs on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 118 yards and one touchdown. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 103.6 rushing yards per game. Brian Lopez also helped out as he racked up 117 rushing yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: American Falls was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 344 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Declo only rushed for 120.
American Falls' defense stepped up as well, laying out Traecyn Thaxton three times. Leading the way was Ty Smith with two sacks. He has been hot for a while, having also posted five or more total tackles the last 20 times he's played.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bonners Ferry). They really took it to Timberlake for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-14 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Badgers, who have now won five games in a row.
Bonners Ferry's win came from a few key players American Falls will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Keenan Maas, who rushed for 209 yards and four scores while picking up 13.1 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run. Conrad Hiatt also helped with three touchdowns in total.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Bonners Ferry, adding 15 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Hiatt, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
American Falls' record is now 7-2. As for Bonners Ferry, their record now sits at an identical 7-2.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. American Falls has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 221.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Bonners Ferry struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 268.1 rushing yards.
