Volleyball Recap: Oceanside Wins Going Away Against Coastal Academy

Oceanside not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Coastal Academy Stingrays. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Stingrays: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Oceanside took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-11.

Oceanside's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Coastal Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oceanside will head out to square off against Horizon Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coastal Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Tri-City Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
