Football Game Preview: Acton-Boxborough Revolution vs. Weston Wildcats

The Acton-Boxborough Revolution will face off against the Weston Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Acton-Boxborough 11.4, Weston 10) so any points scored will be well earned.

Acton-Boxborough is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Milton on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Revolution came up short against the Wildcats, falling 34-8. The loss was the Revolution's first of the season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Weston and Dover-Sherborn meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Raiders 34-0. The contest marked the Wildcats' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Weston's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Acton-Boxborough, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
