Baseball Recap: Teton Takes a Loss

Teton lost to Filer back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Redskins fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 6-5. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Teton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Wright, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs. Junior Borg also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Teton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Filer, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1-1.

Coming up, Teton will face off against Shelley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Redskins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Russets have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Filer, they will head out on the road to face off against Buhl at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
