Basketball Recap: MAST Academy Takes a Loss

MAST Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 72-30 loss at the hands of the Edison Red Raiders. The Makos were down 49-28 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Edison got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lucas Reynolds out in front who went 7 of 11 on his way to 22 points and three steals. Izaiah Robinson was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to nine assists and five boards.

MAST Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Edison, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.

MAST Academy has already played their next contest (against International Studies), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Edison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-53 victory against Booker T. Washington on the 30th.
