After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Satellite, Cocoa Beach was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers 9-3. The Minutemen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Zoe Vella spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Isabella Deese, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kaelin Goslin, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Cocoa Beach's record now sits at 11-9. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Cocoa Beach and Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy will both be playing Cocoa the next time they take the field. The Minutemen will host the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
