Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Capital City Cavaliers

The Roosevelt Roughriders will face off against the Capital City Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Roosevelt had to suffer through a 50-7 loss at the hands of Vashon. The loss continues a trend for the Roughriders in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now lost eight in a row.

While Capital City didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 55-44 win over Father Tolton on Tuesday.

Capital City is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
