Basketball Game Preview: Dodge County Indians vs. Vidalia Indians

The Dodge County Indians and the Vidalia Indians will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.

Dodge County is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering East Laurens just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Falcons are ranked 72nd).

Meanwhile, Vidalia waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 50-43 victory over the Bulldogs.

Dodge County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Vidalia, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
