Baseball Game Preview: Compton Tarbabes vs. Jordan Panthers

Compton hasn't had much luck against Jordan recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tarbabes will face off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Friday just wasn't the day for Compton's offense. They lost 21-0 to Lakewood on Friday.

Compton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Jacobo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Jordan also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Woodrow Wilson on Friday, falling 11-0.

Compton's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Jordan, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Compton came out on top in a nail-biter against Jordan in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tarbabes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
