Thatcher entered their tilt with Pima on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 72-59 victory over the Roughriders. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 44-28 loss the last time these two teams met.

Thatcher's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Pima, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 10-1.

Thatcher and Pima will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Eagles see the court they'll take on Amphitheater at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026. As for Pima, their break will end when they face Round Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
