Softball Recap: Baker Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Baker had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Central Jaguars by a score of 11-7 on Monday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 8-7 win on April 8th.

The team relied heavily on Kenzie Ward, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Justyce Johns was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Baker's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Baker has already played their next match, a 16-1 loss against Jay on the 29th. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
