D'Arbonne Woods is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed a 74-70 win over Magnolia School of Excellence on Friday. Given D'Arbonne Woods' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while Magnolia School of Excellence is ranked 352nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Green Oaks was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Loyola College Prep 64-35.

D'Arbonne Woods is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Green Oaks, their victory bumped their record up to 10-18.
