Softball Recap: Slaughter Community Charter Comes Up Short

After flying high against Episcopal on Thursday, Slaughter Community Charter came back down to earth. Slaughter Community Charter came up short against the Zachary Broncos on Friday, falling 25-3.

Slaughter Community Charter's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Zachary, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Slaughter Community Charter didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against Notre Dame on the 29th. As for Zachary, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-4 victory against St. Michael on the 28th.
